Whereas LinkedIn is used by businesses and corporations to fill in job openings, Creatives of Color is much more user-to-user based. If you have a project you want to work on, you can get in touch with the exact people that you need. For example, if you want to make a film about a dancer, you could use this app/website to post a notice about your project or directly contact the people that you need for the project - so you could find a dancer, a sound designer, a choreographer, a videographer, etc. Essentially, Creatives of Color was designed to bridge the gap between black creatives so that they can help each other with creative projects, collaborate, and support one another through their journeys.
